香水2本 (Two bottles of perfume)

十数年ぶりに2種類の香水を買いました。　いつもはOld Spiceを使っていますが、まだまだ暑い日が続くので、Old Spiceの香りは少々似つかわしくありません。　夏らしいものをと思い新調しました。
I bought two kinds of perfume for the first time in more than ten years. I usually use Old Spice, but the scent of Old Spice do not slightly seem appropriate for hot summer days which still continue – this made me to decide to buy summery perfume.

1. 　カルバンクライン　CK-1　（Calvin Klein CK-1)
   
   90年代半ば頃に人気を博したCK-1です。他にはCK-1 SummerやCK-1 Shockがありますが、やはりこのベーシックなCK-1がいいと思います。　余談ですが、1995年にハワイへ行ったとき、現地でも流行っていたんでしょうか、CK-1の香りがあちこちに漂っていた記憶があります。　あの時はまだワイキキもどこか牧歌的な雰囲気が残っており、この香りと共に思い出に残っています。（今のワイキキは再開発されすぎて、もはや私の好きだったワイキキではなくなってしまったのが残念です。）
   
   I remember that the CK-1 was popular in the mid 90’s. There are other types of CK-1 (CK-1 Summer and CK-1 Shock), but I think this basic CK-1 is the best. By the way, when I went to Hawaii in 1995, I remember that the scent of CK-1 was floating around, probably because it was popular also in Hawaii. At that time, Waikiki still had an idyllic atmosphere, and it is memorable with this scent. (It’s a shame that Waikiki is too much redeveloped that it’s no longer my favorite Waikiki.)

当時のハワイといえば、Janet Jacksonの「Runaway」がパワープレイで流れていました。　これもまた当時の思い出の一つですね。
Speaking of Hawaii at that time, Janet Jackson’s “Runaway” was played in power play. This is also one of the memories of those days.

2. クリニーク　Happy For Men（Clinique Happy For Men)

Cliniqueは、私にとっては長らくメンズスキンケア・ヘアケア製品のイメージが強かったのですが、家内から教えてもらって買いました。香りはPolo Ralph Laurenのグリーンボトルに似ています。　
I had a strong image on Clinique as men’s skin care and hair care products for a long time, but I bought it per my wife’s advice. The scent resembles a green bottle of Polo Ralph Lauren.
