ALTRA プロビジョン6 ランニングシューズ (ALTRA Provision6 Running Shoes)

ALTRAは、米国の長距離走元代表選手であったGolden Harper氏が2009年に創設したブランドです。ケガで走れなくなったランナーを再び走れるようにしたいという思いからブランド創設に至ったそうです。
ALTRAの存在は知っていて気にはなっていたものの、実店舗が近くになかったので購入をためらっていたのですが、2022年3月に横浜・関内にYokohama Stride Labがオープンしたと聞き、早速出向いてみました。
ALTRA was founded in 2009 by Golden Harper, a former U.S. long-distance runner. He founded the brand to help runners who had lost the ability to run due to injury to be able to run again.
I had been aware of ALTRA’s existence, but had been hesitant to purchase ALTRA shoes because there was no actual store nearby.　I heard that ‘Yokohama Stride Lab’ shop opened in Kannai, Yokohama in March 2022, I went to check and buy my shoes.

このシューズの特徴は、ランニングのサポートシステムであるInnovArch（イノヴァーチ）というものです。
InnovArchは、足や体の部位が空間のどこにあるかを知ることができるプロプリオセプションシステムを採用しており、一歩一歩適切な着地ができるようになっているので、足の自然な動きを制限することなくスムーズで快適な一歩一歩を手助けしてくれます。
また、GuideRailというテクノロジーも搭載されています。　GuideRailは、プロネーション（着地の衝撃を分散するために着地時にかかとが内側に倒れ込むように動く人体の自然な動き）が過度になった時だけ倒れ込みすぎないように戻してくれる自然な着地を促すというものです。
The shoes feature InnovArch, a support system for running.
InnovArch uses a proprioception system that allows the foot and body parts to know where they are in space so that they can land properly with each step, helping to make each step smooth and comfortable without restricting the natural movement of the foot.
It also features a technology called GuideRail.　GuideRail encourages a natural landing only when pronation (the human body’s natural movement of the heel to fall inward upon landing to disperse the impact of landing) becomes excessive, by bringing the heel back so that it does not fall in too far.
