バイク用品：プロテクターとシートバッグ（Motorcycle Goods: protectors and seat bag)

バイクに乗る際は、必ず胸部・背部のプロテクター付きのジャケットを着用します。
夏にTシャツ1枚で大型バイクに乗っている人をよく見かけますが、私には怖くてできません。バイク事故の3大死亡原因が、頭部損傷、胸部損傷、頚椎損傷となれば、プロテクターは必須です。　通常はプロテクター内蔵のジャケットを着ますが、普通のジャケットも着たいので、ベストタイプのプロテクターを購入しました。
I always wear a jacket with protectors on the chest and the back when riding a motorcycle.
I often see people riding big motorcycle with only a T-shirt without any protectors in the summer, but I cannot do the same. Protectors are essentially needed to hear that three major causes of motorcycle accident death are head injury, chest injury, and cervical spine injury. Normally, I wear a jacket with a built-in protector, but I also want to wear a normal jacket, so I bought the vest type protector.

そのうち1泊2泊でツーリングに行くこともあると思うので、バイクの座面に置くシートバッグも併せて購入しました。　Degnerの製品もスマートでどちらにするか悩みましたが、タナックスのものは容量が最大29ℓあるので、大は小を兼ねる、でこちらにしました。（Degnerのものは21ℓです。）　側面にポケットやドリンクホルダーがあるのもいいですね。　唯一、”Camping Gear”などと大きいロゴがドーンと印刷されているのが減点ポイントです。　見ればわかりますって。。　バイクウエアもそうですが、メーカーロゴが大きく印刷されているものが多く、シンプルなものの方が少ないです。
I think that I may go touring for one or two nights, so I also bought a seat bag to put on the seat of the motorcycle. Degner’s product was also good-looking and I worried about which one to choose. Finally I chose this Tanax’s model, thinking that larger bag will be more useful (this model has a maximum capacity of 29 liters, Degner’s bag has 21 liters). It’s nice that this model has pockets and drink holders on its sides.
The only negative point is that a large logo such as “Camping Gear” is printed. As with motorcycle wear, many have a large maker logo printed on them, and few are simple.

通常の日帰りツーリングでは、Master Piece製のウエストバッグを使っています。
For normal touring, I use MasterPiece’s waist bag.
