On February 12, I went to Quays Pacific Grill in Yokohama Hammerhead in Minato Mirai.
It was a weekday and the place was sparsely populated, so we were able to get in right away. If it were a normal weekend without COVID, it would probably be quite crowded.
I had a pastrami sandwich for lunch, but I actually came here for having the clam chowder. When I was in the U.S. for a short stay about 15 years ago, I had the most delicious clam chowder at a restaurant called “Chowders” in Pier 39, a tourist attraction in San Francisco. So I came to this restaurant for enjoying the same taste.

This is Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse on the way to Quays. Almost no one was there.

This is the Marine Walk buildings right next to the Hammerhead. There were not many people here either.

On the way back, I took a photo of Yokohama Customs (Queen’s Tower), feeling a bit like a tourist.

This is what the Chowders look like at Pier 39 in San Francisco. Its appearance looks to be the same as before. I would like to go there again.
